Ever since I met Sonya on the train from Cork to Dublin about 12 months ago I was very sorry that we did not exchange details. Baby Florence was with us and I remember that he was 6 months old. An enchanting little boy!
Sonya was going to visit her mother in Dublin and I was terribly envious of a lady who is grandmother to Sam, Sophie,Arthur, Oscar, Hamilton and Florence. I once even drove up and down Boreenmanna Road in the hope of seeing Sonya wheeling a pram and surrounded by a group of little children. I am a grandmother but my grandchildren are all elsewhere, 7 year old Dylan is in Co Clare and Phoebe and Laurent are in London.
